Poetry Live! is an anthology of Hong Kong poetry selected especially for teens, and offered at very low cost to Hong Kong secondary schools and universities, as a way of promoting the study of poetry by providing poems -- and poets -- that are immediate and relevant to today's youth.

Books list at HK$40, but are available in special educational packages of HK$15 each for 20 or more, and HK$12 each for 50 or more.

The book is funded by a grant from the Hong Kong International Literary Festival and was launched at the Poetry Live! event of the 2005 Man Hong Kong International Literary Festival.

Many of the poets featured in Poetry Live! are available for to visit schools for readings. Arrangements for appearances and sales of books be made directly with the poets.

Poetry Live! in the Schools is a special package offered by Chameleon Press, which includes a one hour visit from a poet selected by the school and 40 copies of the book, all for just HK$980. Additional copies of the book may be purchased for HK$12 each.

Tammy Ho is a graduate student at the University of Hong Hong. Her poems appear in Magma Poetry and Borderlines Poetry Magazine. Kavita Jindal is long-time Hong Kong resident and poet who now lives in Britain. Her poems appear in her collection Raincheck Renewed. Timothy Kaiser teaches at Canadian International School. His poems have been published in his collection Food Court. Agnes Lam is an Associate Professor at Hong Kong university. Her poems appear in the collections Woman to Woman and Water Wood Pure Spendour.
Leung Ping-kwan is a professor at Lingnan University and one of Hong Kong’s best-known poets. His poems appear in his bilingual English-Chinese collection Travelling with a Bitter Melon. David McKirdy's poems have been published in his collection Accidental Occidental. Mani Rao is a writer, poet and founder of the OUTLOUD poetry group. Her poems appear in a number of collections, including echolocation. Madeleine Marie Slavick is a poet and publisher. Her poems here have been published in her bilingual English-Chinese collection delicate access.
