Answer to The Case of the Fishy Tale

Wong asks for a kitchen knife and carefully cuts each of the three eggs in half. Then he puts half of each egg onto another plate. Now he has two plates of egg halves. He still doesn’t know which is fugu and which is gufu, but he knows for sure that each plate contains half a fugu egg and two halves of a gufu egg. Then he picks up the net and goes to the fugu pond, scooping up another egg. He cuts that egg in half, and adds a piece to each plate. The result is that Ding now had the right amount of fugu and gufu on his plate. The second plate goes into the fridge for tomorrow's dose.
